Camille Lacourt
Camille Lacourt in business
Does Camille Lacourt really train?
Yes. Camille Lacourt is a co-founder of JUMP SAS and works hands on: he runs the sessions, he works directly with executive boards, he passes on the mental preparation protocols he practised throughout his career.
This is not a famous name on a brochure. It is the most important point on this page, and it is also what sets JUMP apart from almost every offer that brings in an elite athlete.
Who Camille Lacourt is
Five times world swimming champion. A career at the highest international level, in a discipline where the gap between a medal and fourth place is counted in hundredths of a second, and where, at equal physical preparation, what decides is mental.
After his sporting career he devoted himself to passing it on: talks on leadership, stress management and mental health at work. In July 2025 he co-founded JUMP SAS with Ludovic Savariello, to move from one-off appearances to a structured programme.
Why an inspiring talk changes nothing three weeks later
The dominant format on the market is well known: an elite athlete comes and recounts their career in front of the assembled company. It is well done, it is often moving, and the effect is real. For a few days.
Then it fades, for three simple reasons.
A talk passes on inspiration, not skills. Hearing how a champion recovered from a poor performance does not give you the tools to do it yourself in next Tuesday’s board meeting.
There is no reactivation. Learning that is not picked up again dissipates. It is the best documented mechanism of memory, and no ninety minute format escapes it.
The collective is not worked on. Everyone heard the same thing at the same moment, but nothing was built together. No shared vocabulary, no rule of operation changed.
We are not saying talks are worthless. They open something, they mark the moment, they create an occasion. We are saying you should not expect lasting change from them, because that is not what they do.
How learning is actually anchored
What Camille brings to an executive board
Direct experience of pressure, not an account of it. A company director listens differently to someone who has lived through what they live through, in another form. Credibility cannot be declared.
Tested protocols. Managing arousal before a deadline, focus routines, preparing for the unexpected, handling failure and the debrief that follows. These are precise methods, not general principles.
A plain relationship with performance. Elite sport leaves no room for rhetoric. The result is public, immediate, not up for negotiation. That culture speaks to company directors, and it moves conversations that had been going round in circles.
A legitimate voice on mental health. Talking about mental fatigue, doubt and recovery is still difficult in an executive board. When it is a world champion raising the subject, the conversation becomes possible.
How he takes part
Camille Lacourt takes part within a JUMP programme, not on his own. The format, the number of days and how involved he is are set according to the company’s objectives and the make-up of the executive board, and settled in the quote.
Depending on the case, he may open the programme, run sequences on mental preparation and handling pressure, or take part at key moments of the journey.
His presence, and how much of it, is one of the things that determine the budget of the programme.
The programme and what determines its budget
A talk on its own, or a full programme?
| Criterion | One-off talk | JUMP programme |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 1 to 2 hours | Several months |
| Purpose | To mark the moment, inspire, open | To change ways of working |
| Audience | The assembled company | The executive board |
| Content | Story and lessons | Protocols, exercises, practice |
| Afterwards | Nothing planned | Mobile app, leads, follow-up |
| Measurement | Satisfaction on the day | Indicators set at the audit |
If what you need is a one-off high point, a talk is the right format, and many agencies do it very well. If what you need is for your executive board to work differently in six months, what you need is a programme.
Which companies this is for
JUMP is for French companies with a constituted executive board, usually between 4 and 15 people. There is no revenue threshold and no minimum company size.
